About Us
AMP Liquid was formed by joint principals – Russell Jones and Peter Moore – bringing together a group of Financial Advisers with a broad range of skills. This is a major benefit to customers as they’re able to have all their financial requirements taken care of by a team of professionals in one organisation.
AMP Liquid operates as an AMP Adviser Business in Takapuna. Advisers are able to give advice on the full range of financial products and services issued by AMP. To ensure that each client gets the best possible solution to meet their individual needs, AMP Liquid Advisers are able to access products and services from a range of other AMP-approved providers.
All our Advisers hold an annually renewable AMP Practicing Certificate which is contingent upon meeting continuing education, ethical and compliance requirements as determined by AMP.

I’ve built up a substantial client base during this time and focus on providing advice on life insurance, general insurance, investments and home loans.
By regularly attending conferences and seminars I keep up to date with continuing changes in the industry. I also consider continuing education to be important and I’m currently completing a Diploma in Business Studies (Personal Financial Planning).
Being constantly aware of the most recent developments in the marketplace allows me to suggest the best solution to meet your individual needs.

I’ve had 27 years experience with several major banks in the financial services sector, including five years in real estate sales. I’ve established solid relationships with a number of lending institutions to ensure that my clients get the best possible solution tailored to their individual requirements.
Continuing education is highly important to me. I’m a Chartered Accountant, an Associate Member of the Real Estate Institute and have recently completed a Diploma in Business Studies (Personal Financial Planning). With these credentials, clients can be confident that their financial needs will be appropriately assessed prior to making a final recommendation.

During this time I established a wide range of contacts with lenders. I have access to a range of facilities that can be packaged to generate attractive finance solutions for clients.
While I have a focus on residential and commercial property finance, I have recently broadened my skills by completing the Diploma in Business Studies (Personal Financial Planning). Therefore I’m now able to assist clients with their broader financial planning needs.

I have multiple language skills and speak English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien fluently, with a working knowledge of the Malay language.

Prior to this I completed my Bachelor of Business Degree. This accounting and finance qualification along with ongoing education through seminars & workshops, has enabled me to understand clients’ wide-ranging financial needs and offer them advice on achieving their financial goals and protecting what they have already created.
My broad base of knowledge allows me to provide advice on personal financial planning needs of my clients, however my areas of expertise include property finance, personal insurance, and business risk insurance.
I have a passion for sports and look forward to meeting my clients and talking not only about their financial needs but also about the weekend’s sport. I actively participate in a number of sports myself including tennis, golf, surfing, and cricket. |

I am married to Lynley and we have three adult sons. We enjoy travel and Northland's outdoor activities. My other interests include participating in triathlons and contributing to local Rotary projects.
We live in a complex, fast-paced world, with rapidly changing social and economic conditions. Establishing, setting and implementing our financial goals can help provide direction and security to our lives.

I joined AMP Liquid in 2006 and brought with me a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from nearly 30 years in the industry. During this time I have built up a very large and loyal client base.
Whilst I am able to advise on a wide range of products and needs, I concentrate predominantly on business and personal risk management. This includes individual advice on life and trauma insurance, as well as income protection. For businesses, I advise on key person cover as well as share purchase and partnership insurances, which are a key ingredient in succession planning. I also advise on employee benefit schemes.
Over the years I have completed a wide range of certificates and keep these qualifications up to date by attending industry workshops and conferences and sitting industry based examinations. These maintain my continuing education credits required by the Institute of Financial Advisers to retain annual membership and renew the AMP Certificate of Practice.
I am married with one adult daughter and enjoy spending leisure time with the family in Fiji and Omaha and enjoy competitive sailing both in New Zealand and Internationally. My other interest is the day to day management of a commercial property portfolio. |

My previous experience since the age of 18 has included administration of Home Loans followed by administration of Debenture Stock / Capital Notes Investments.
My main role at AMP Liquid is PA to Russell Jones, which includes liasing with his clients. This contact typically relates to General Insurance, Personal Risk, Health Insurance, Investments or Home Loans.
I also look to ensure that the office runs smoothly, with a focus on compliance, marketing and liaising with AMP.
I live in Whangaparaoa with my partner, Mark, and our two cats. My interests include rugby (in a supporter capacity), reading, handcrafts, walking, cooking and travelling. |

I have worked with Kevan for eight years.
I liaise with all Kevan’s general insurance clients, which involves contacting them on an annual basis at renewal of their policies and completing the general administration of these policies. I enjoy being easily accessible to our clients and feel that this is important in running a customer friendly office; definitely preferable to an automated telephone system.
I also handle the ongoing general administration of new and existing life/health/trauma policies and client portfolios.
I live by the beach just out of Whangarei and have three adult children. My interests are tramping, swimming and pilates. I also do a lot walking around the hills by my home for relaxation and fitness. |

My have a secretarial background and for the past 13 years have worked in the insurance industry as an administrator for Adviser Businesses.
Typically I manage day to day activities associated with running the office. This includes liaising with clients and AMP on existing business, new business and our fire & general agency.
I am married and have two adult sons. We live on a lifestyle block in Oratia and my interests include family, walking and handcrafts. |
